Actually, the lyrics 'freak out ' were originally to be 'fuck off' due to his being refused entry after being invited to Studio 54 by Grace Jones.[ wikipedia ]
ReplyDeleteIt is revisionism - not the music but the people who were into it were oppressive and if you didn't have the right clothes etc in school you were considered a loser.
