'Gay flatmate wanted' ads break equality laws
The Telegraph.
Interesting that this is blowing up - and the inflection given it here.
It's nicked off a BBC News story from earlier today - 'Flat adverts that may be breaking the law: "To let" advertisements that specify a particular race or religion are
visible in newsagents windows in many areas of London. But are they
breaking the law?' - that only mentions THE GAYS in passing.
It is of course nonsensical, despite the Equality Act (2010) - endlessly cited in these articles - people are still at liberty to choose who they want to live with.
And quite right, too.
Why flatshare with a fascist when you can firebomb them?
