Censored Thought For The Day: Ann Widdecombe

"It is ironic that at the height of the Cold War, Communists could get together in this country, could stand for Parliament and could distribute their propaganda but in our so-called modern Britain those who believe in preserving marriage have fewer rights than many political extremists.
"The manipulation of public opinion through the curtailing of free speech is exactly what we would expect from a fascist or Communist regime but it has no place in modern Britain."

Ann Widdecombe writes on how critics of gay marriage have been silenced.
It is ironic that she is arguing this in her weekly column in the million-selling Daily Express.

And let's hope these critics will be silenced by the force of law in due course.
