"By accident really. I just put two men on top of a cake in a moment of madness."

"And the picture went around the world. Whenever a newspaper wanted to illustrate a story about gay marriage it was the go-to photo."

"Yeah, they prefer pictures of gay men with no heads. It's another variant on the myth that real gay couples don't exist."
