Online Media: Pink Press Threat

Just had a look at some "leading" gay news websites - mentioning no names - to see what I may have missed today.
Holy crap!
What a tidal wave of drivel.
Days old "news", advertorial, unchecked unquestioned stories lifted straight from the straight press, racist/Orientalist bigotry, right wing/reactionary crap...
I could fill a page or three just listing each mistake they made today, but guess you must be bored enough already. 
I have much respect for what various print magazines - Attitude, GScene, GT, QX, particularly - are trying to do, but why do people not implode at these online idiotic guff machines?

PS Should add I was sad to see Stephen Gray leave Pink News. Also one of the good guys.
