David Bowie: There Is Nothing Like The Dame

All the broadsheets have gone batshit mental with excitement today about David Bowie - he even gets a leader in The Times - springboarding off the forthcoming David Bowie Is exhibition at the V&A.
Cause if it's in a museum that means it's your actual art, right?

(I've heard a few live recordings of Bowie's old gigs from back in his greatest decades and they aren't really as good as I'd expected they would be - maybe more of a (genius) recording artist and erm visualist than a live performer?
      I dunno.

God, I love The Dame, though.
Been listening to him quite a lot over the last week or so.
      Great music, great artist imo.

(he broke his media "silence" recently, didn't he, I think? Seems he posted on facebook to refute the reported claim that he was personally involved with the exhibition which he wasn't... or something)

Wish he'd come back, but it's a particularly cool thing to gracefully slide from view like he did. Bit like Doris Day.
