Tom Daley: Just Because

A Christian advocacy group has sparked outrage by suggesting Tom Daley's disappointing Olympic performance was due to his sexuality.

Christian Voice, which bills itself as a "lobby group praying for national repentance" took to Twitter after the Plymouth diver failed to qualify for the final of the men's 10 metre diving contest.

The group said: "Turning gay doesn't seem to have done Tom Daley any favours at Rio 2016."

They later added: "And we need to remember that Tom Daley only went gay because he was seduced by an older man."

Plymouth Herald.

Christian Voice is not a 'group' - it's one man, Stephen Green.

Update: Ian Dale confronts the cunty Green on LBC.

Alan Turing Pardon: Pointless

'The pardon given to Alan struck me as being something one couldn't in any real sense object to. But it seemed odd that he'd been singled out.

'I don't want people to go away with the impression that the pardon was a bad thing. It's really hard to criticise it, but I'm not sure that it added a great deal.'

Sir Dermot Turing, Alan's nephew, in GT (ie Gay Times).

Stephen Fry and Benedict Cumberbatch - two of Fagburn's most favourite people - are backing a campaign, okay, an online petition, asking the government to; 'Pardon all of the estimated 49,000 men who, like Alan Turing, were convicted of consenting same-sex relations under the British "gross indecency" law (only repealed in 2003), and also all the other men convicted under other UK anti-gay laws.'

Again, what is point?

NB Men who have criminal convictions or cautions for consensual gay sex (or mere encounters) have been able to get them overturned since 2012.

PS Mind you, anything that winds up Stephen Green of Christian Voice must have something going for it...

I think this is meant to be her showreel to get some TV work.

Stephen, TELEVISION IS NOT IN THE BIBLE!!!

Bilderberg 2012: Young Man With A Horn

Collin Abramowicz is 22, and comes from a background soaked in sports: "My stepfather watches baseball, my father watches football, all my friends are obsessed with sports. I used to do wrestling at school, but now my priorities have shifted. You cannot get passionate about something when you're being deceived. They're magicians – they are doing something with one hand while you're watching the other. Sport is a distraction."
From what? "How about the NDAA? Or how about HR658? Why does the government want to put 30,000 surveillance drones in the sky by 2020?'

That's Collin pictured above with the horn - one of a number of protesters at this year's Bilderberg meeting who spoke to The Guardian.
I picked out Collin cause I like the cut of his jib.

PS Stephen Green "of" Christian Voice also fears Bilderberg 2012's meeting of the secret rulers of the world, noting this year; "The UK’s gay mafia is well represented with Peter, Lord Mandelson, who is now Chairman of ‘Global Counsel’, whatever that is, and Nick Boles, MP, a member of David Cameron’s kitchen cabinet and a good friend of modernisers Boris Johnson and Francis Maude." Tremble!

Was Jesus Gay?: Dunno Really

"Those last words of Jesus would not let me escape. "When Jesus saw his mother and the disciple whom he loved standing near, he said to his mother, 'Woman behold your son!' Then he said to the disciple. 'Behold your mother!' And from that hour the disciple took her to his own home.""That disciple was John whom Jesus, the gospels affirm, loved in a special way. All the other disciples had fled in fear. Three women but only one man had the courage to go with Jesus to his execution. That man clearly had a unique place in the affection of Jesus. In all classic depictions of the Last Supper, a favourite subject of Christian art, John is next to Jesus, very often his head resting on Jesus's breast. Dying, Jesus asks John to look after his mother and asks his mother to accept John as her son. John takes Mary home. John becomes unmistakably part of Jesus's family.
"Jesus was a Hebrew rabbi. Unusually, he was unmarried. The idea that he had a romantic relationship with Mary Magdalene is the stuff of fiction, based on no biblical evidence. The evidence, on the other hand, that he may have been what we today call gay is very strong. But even gay rights campaigners in the church have been reluctant to suggest it..."

Paul Oestreicher, a chaplain at the University Of Sussex, writing in The Guardian.
Not sure we should take anything in The Bible as gospel (fangyewverymuch I'm here all week) seeing as it says Mr Christ was born to a virgin, could walk on water, turn water into wine, talked to bushes, and bring back the dead - including himself - but anyway...
I've lost count of the number of things I've read saying Our Lord was a total gaylord.
May I suggest Paul visits a library or Googles "Was Jesus gay?" and reads one of the paltry 22,700 articles that brings up.
Still I like the idea of Fred and Shirley Phelps and Stephen Green choking on their spaghetti hoops on reading this.
Why not send them this article? info@christianvoice.org.uk.
The Westboro Baptist Church website is still down after being hacked by those naughty anarchists at Anonymous but you can reach Shirley Phelps at http://www.twitter.com/DearShirley.
Feel free to send them some really filthy hardcore gay porn, too.

Tesco: Vengeful God Visits Biblical Plague Of Mice On Godless Stores

"It doesn’t get any better for Tesco, who have seen their ‘big price drop’ flop, sales and profits drop, the worst perfomance of the ‘big four’ over Christmas, their share price plummet, their UK operations CEO sacked, their local management in a spin, all since announcing a £30,000 gift to London Gay Pride in November 2011.
"And only days ago we reported on a Tesco manageress in Gravesend calling the police because one of our members was giving out our ‘Boycott Tesco’ leaflets outside her store.
"Now it’s an infestation of mice in Tesco’s flagship Tesco Metro in Bedford Street in London’s Covent Garden. The store has been closed by Westminster Environmetal Health Department..."

Christian Voice: Praying For Confusion In The Tesco Boardroom

"Tesco has recorded a disastrous Christmas after announcing in early November a £30,000 donation to next year’s divisive, depraved London ‘Gay Pride’.
"Sales in the UK were down 2.3 per cent on last year at Tesco’s busiest time of the year. The figures stunned investors and Tesco shares slumped 53.5p, or almost 14 per cent, to 331.6p, wiping more than £3 billion off its value...
"The news follows a Christian Voice campaign of prayer for confusion in the Tesco boardroom, backed up by emails to directors complaining at the ‘Gay Pride’ decision and leafleting at Tesco stores. Just before Christmas a panic-stricken Tesco announced that the 2012 ‘Gay Pride’ donation would be its last. Hours later, in the face of a homosexual backlash, it had to clarify that gays and lesbians were really important and promise that it would support its homosexual contact group ‘Out at Tesco’ in other ways in 2013, which only made matters worse...
"We also prayed for confusion in the Tesco boardroom. As the ‘Big Price Drop’ was launched in September, it seems that Almighty God, who operates outside space and time, was well ahead of us, anticipating our prayers, and seeing by our actions that our prayers were serious. Significantly, we prayed for a drop in their share price, which, with £3b erased from the value of Tesco, has been answered on what you could describe as a Biblical scale.
"On top of that, their ‘Gay Pride’ announcement, made six weeks before Christmas, could not have come at a worse time for them. It was madness to think that such brazen support for the tiny 1% of the population who are homosexual could have a positive effect. As a result, thousands of Christians and other decent people boycotted the store at what should have been its busiest time of the year..."

Stephen Green, Christian Voice, on supremely insane form.
This is so bonkers is it even worth critiquing?
So the all-knowing God predicted Tesco would donate to London Pride this year (not next, Stephen) so made them come up with an unsuccesful campaign called Big Price Drop?
Of course, dear, of course.
And the lines about Tesco dropping Pride in a panic after a Christian boycott, then after a "homosexual backlash" saying they were backing another gay group is BOLLOCKS made up by the Christian Institute - who you don't mention.
Why so, Stevie - a divine feud?

Update: Surprisingly straight-faced account of this in the business pages of Saturday's Guardian.

Stephen Green: The Wifebeater Strikes Back

"A catalogue of smears and distortions stitched together by a tabloid journalist who specialises in TV, showbiz, gossip and celebrity features, and which was based solely on comments attributed to my former wife."

Christian Voice's Stephen Green finally comments on allegations made in The Daily Mail by his ex-wife that he beat and raped her, and abused their children.
In The Guardian Online, The Lay Scientist, Martin Robbins, wonders if the Mail's indignation about these allegations is a little hypocritical.
Weren't Stephen Green's declared beliefs enough to have made him a media pariah?
"So the simple question is this: given their moral outrage over how Stephen Green is alleged to have behaved in his private life, how do the Daily Mail justify giving a voice to an opponent of the criminalisation of marital rape, and a defender of death penalties for some homosexual acts, for so damned long?"
Quite.
Oh, and how do BBC TV News justify giving the unchristian Green a voice too, of course - which is far worse...

Stephen Green: Outed As A Wifebeater & Worse

Christian Voice's Stephen Green's ex-wife Caroline talks to the Daily Mail today and claims he used to beat her and their sons.
"Whenever I watch him on TV spouting verses from the Bible, or see him quoted in a newspaper, it turns my stomach,’ she says. ‘I’ve decided to tell the truth about him now because the people who support him financially and morally should know what he is really like.’"
This news will come as a complete shock to anyone who hadn't always suspected Stephen Green is a psychotic cunt.
"He even framed our marriage vows — he always put particular emphasis on my promise to obey him — and hung them over our bed. He believed there was no such thing as marital rape and for years I’d been reluctant to have sex with him, but he said it was my duty and was angry if I refused him.
"But the beating was the last straw. It convinced me I had to divorce him."
The couple had been married for 22 years - Caroline said he began to change for the even worse around 1992 when he wrote his anti-gay tract, The Sexual Dead-End.
He left the Conservative Family Campaign in 1994, and set up Christian Voice - a one-man band where he had no-one to point out how bonkers his ideas had become.
He also moved the family to a mobile home on a small-holding in Wales, in order to remove them from the "evil" influences of urban life.
"First, he told us the Bible decreed we should work the land before rebuilding the house. He used the kids as child labour. They had to plant seeds, cultivate crops and harvest them. They had very little free time."
Caroline says Green became "hyper-manic"; "For years he’d been controlling, spiteful and self-righteous. But later he became delusional and completely uncontrollable."
She finally left him in 2006, after her brother loaned her money so she could escape with the children.
They later divorced - which is against biblical teaching incidentally - and Stephen Green last year married a Kenyan woman 25 years younger he'd met at some fruitloop Pentecostal meeting.
"When I see my ex-husband on television quoting the Bible, I think: “Please let this all end”.
"If people were able to know the real Stephen Green, my hope is that at last it will."
And now it's revealed that Stephen Green is an even more loathsome excuse for a human being than we previously thought, will the Daily Mail stop asking him for his comments about morality?

Stephen Green: Put A Ring On It

'Is This Why We Send Them To University? Outrage as gay man and straight woman get married... for degree art project'
Yup, you guessed - we're back in Daily Mail land.
"A gay man and a straight woman who married each other for a university art project were today criticised for mocking the sanctity of marriage.
"Art students Nora Battenberg-Cartwright, 21, and Paul Cartwright, 20, say that their union is 'more honest' than a traditional marriage because they can tell each other when they're seeing other people."
Criticised by whom, pray?
The Daily Mail could only find the in-no-way mad Stephen Green of one man band Christian Voice.
Sadly whenever one sees Mr Green quoted anywhere nowadays one is reminded of the BBC TV News bod who when asked why on earth they got him on to comment on Elton John's surrogate baby answered matter-of-factly;
"It is Christmas so a lot of people are away or not answering their telephones."
Green told the Mail; "They are denigrating the institution of marriage itself. Marriage is not an art project, it is the life-long union of man and woman and part of that is the sexual act which is there for companionship and the raising of children."
Two rather obvious questions for Mr Green enter Fagburn's mind.
Surely he should approve of the homosexually-inclined getting married?
And I wonder if Stephen Green could name any gay men - perhaps leaders of anti-gay evangelical Christian groups - who got married to help conceal their homosexuality?
Can you?

Fagburn Awards 22: Anti-Gay Christian Bigot Most Likely To Be Caught Up In A Gay Sex Scandal in 2011

It's gotta be Stephen Green, nutter-in-chief of Christian Voice.

The BBC got Green on the 6 O'Clock News to comment on Elton John's baby - in the name of "balance".
The BBC did the same thing last year in a Newsnight report about the homophobic murder of Ian Baynham.
Well done the BBC! Another winner...

"Gay Vicar Weds Nigerian Toyboy": Readers Explode Across Middle England

Love and marriage, love and marriage, go together like a horse and carriage.
Of course they do, that's why it said so in that song.
And for the tabloids there are a few other things that are just made to go together.
Like the words "toy" and "boy", and "gay" and "vicar".
Well today the gods must have been smiling, as many papers were able to get all four words into a single headline.
As did - but of course - The Sun; 'Gay Vicar Weds Nigerian Toyboy'.
Bingo! Cue mass outbreak of Little Britain-style Tory Ladies vomiting across Middle England.
And - oh hallelujah - it also touches on two other tabloid obsessions; gay marriage, and there's a hint of "immigration scam".
And - praise be - in tabloid terms this is no ordinary "odd couple", they're not just the same sex, they're from different races and continents and - oh heaven forfend - different generations.
Or as The Daily Mail worded it; 'Gay vicar, 65, to 'marry' Nigerian male model half his age.' (Fagburn can't remember anyone being described as a "male model" since the Jeremy Thorpe trial...)
Good job too - as beyond ticking just about every box that's bound to make a bigot explode, this is more over-the-garden-wall gossip, than a news story.
Rev Colin Coward ("bearded... 65") and Bobby Egbele ("25... a model") aren't actually getting married - they can't.
They're having a civil partnership, but not in Colin's church - they can't do that either.
But they are having a "blessing-type service" in the church afterwards.
And Colin's not saying if the relationship is celibate - cause gay vicars can't do that either.
And if you read the small print in some papers he's not even a practising vicar anymore.
Confusing isn't it?
The Mirror missed the immigration angle, but - predictably - The Express didn't, though surprisingly they didn't milk it; "Bobby, a Nigerian citizen, is in the UK on a holiday visa. The couple are awaiting permission for him to remain in the country from the UK Borders Agency. This is expected to be a formality but the marriage – which means Bobby would become a UK citizen – cannot go ahead until permission is granted."
Fagburn has only seen one media source come right out and say... well; "Of course we all know it's just a sham ceremony so Bobby can get his citizenship papers. You know how those homosexuals are always exploiting marriage laws for immigration purposes."
That was Queerty - and I trust they were being ironic.
The Sun says Colin and Bobby's holy/unholy union has "stunned his flock".
But the only other person they have quoted is the in-no-way barking mad Stephen Green of Christian Voice.
Mr Green thinks the idea is "an abomination before God."
He told The Sun; ""Mr Coward is an emotionally disturbed man trying to inflict his predilections on the rest of the church. I fail to recognise him as a Christian."
Funny. A lot of people say the same thing about Stephen Green.

Christian Voice: You're 'Avin' A Larf!

Stephen Green was on Channel 4 for less than two minutes last night.
You can watch it here if thou wilt.
He introduced himself as "National Director of Christian Voice - a Christian lobby group".
Which is as disingenuous as me saying I'm the National Director of Fagburn - a gay lobby group.
There's only one person in Christian Voice - Stephen Green.
I was more than happy for Channel 4 to give Mr Green some airtime - it's part of a series of spots on Homosexuality and Religion, so opposing voices and counter arguments are also being heard.
Moreover, I'm a great believer in freedom of speech.
But the reason I really love Stephen Green's ever-so Christian voice being heard is because he always comes across as someone who is absolutely bonkers.
We should have pay for a nightly TV ad featuring Green ranting away, then at the end print the slogan; "This is what a homophobe looks like."
Being anti-gay would quickly become more uncool than a caravan park.
He is obsessed with homosexuality.
Fagburn has his suspicions as to why this might be, but it's probably best not to say it on a public forum.
Have a look at his website christianvoice.org.uk - it's completely bobbins!
Anyway, to do my little bit to spread the word of our Lord, Fagburn has lovingly transcribed yesterdays 4thought by Stephen Green.

"Anyone who says that homosexual activity is not prohibited in the pages of the Bible is having a laugh.
I'm Stephen Green. I'm national director of Christian Voice which is a Christian lobby group.
The heterosexual model is not [sic] superior to the homosexual one because it's based on the word of god, it's based on the designs of god for humankind.
Homosexuals can never be one flesh so they have to press into like sexual duty parts of the body that aren't designed for that.
God's plan for human sexuality is heterosexual.
And we go right to the very end of the Bible in the Book of Revelation, where John says that the people outside the kingdom of God include "dogs" which is rather unfortunate Greek slang for homosexual men.
There is something inherently destructive about the homosexual lifestyle because it's based on a lie, that homosexuality is equivalent to heterosexual love and marriage - and it can't ever be.
What we have today is a society which is being increasingly secularised.
Half of marriages ending in divorce. Half of children growing up with [sic] their natural father.
We're seeing people can not be elected or even selected as a political candidate these days if they do not accept the full homosexual agenda.
We're seeing a homosexualisation of society, we're not reproducing ourselves.
Except in the Muslim population - it's not [mad laugh] Muslim mums' fault if they're having five or six children they're doing what the lord god has designed their bodies to do.
But in 30 years our dying civilisation is going to be taken over by a stronger one, and the obvious candidate is Islam.
And, well, the gays are not going to like it very much under that system."

If you'd like to discuss any of the issues raised by this programme, why not give Stephen Green a call?
His phone number is 01994 484 544.
God bless you.
