Stephen Green: Put A Ring On It

'Is This Why We Send Them To University? Outrage as gay man and straight woman get married... for degree art project'
Yup, you guessed - we're back in Daily Mail land.
"A gay man and a straight woman who married each other for a university art project were today criticised for mocking the sanctity of marriage.
"Art students Nora Battenberg-Cartwright, 21, and Paul Cartwright, 20, say that their union is 'more honest' than a traditional marriage because they can tell each other when they're seeing other people."
Criticised by whom, pray?
The Daily Mail could only find the in-no-way mad Stephen Green of one man band Christian Voice.
Sadly whenever one sees Mr Green quoted anywhere nowadays one is reminded of the BBC TV News bod who when asked why on earth they got him on to comment on Elton John's surrogate baby answered matter-of-factly;
"It is Christmas so a lot of people are away or not answering their telephones."
Green told the Mail; "They are denigrating the institution of marriage itself. Marriage is not an art project, it is the life-long union of man and woman and part of that is the sexual act which is there for companionship and the raising of children."
Two rather obvious questions for Mr Green enter Fagburn's mind.
Surely he should approve of the homosexually-inclined getting married?
And I wonder if Stephen Green could name any gay men - perhaps leaders of anti-gay evangelical Christian groups - who got married to help conceal their homosexuality?
Can you?
