It's telling that Nathan can reduce a group of people to a mean-spirited cliché, in a time where young gay men are killing themselves all over the country because of hatred like this.
"That said, I would love to sit down with Nathan or any member of Kings and Leon [sic], and tell them how on Glee we actually love their music, and support their artistry… but cannot condone or even laugh at their clear disdain of gay people."

After all, what says "We are a hard-drinking rock'n'roll band who thumb our noses at the stultifying conformity of bourgeois life" quite like an affordable family saloon?
Lost in Showbiz looks forward to the Kings Of Leon further underlining their rigorous opposition to compromising the artistry of their vision by launching their own range of eyewear (Specs On Fire), bodybuilding equipment (Pecs On Fire), stag weekend breaks to Prague (Czechs On Fire) and transparent thermoplastics for use as acrylic glass substitutes (Perspex On Fire)."

Wait, as an artist (who has the right to grant permission to use their music) the Kings of Leon were right to say that they didn't want their songs on Glee because guess what, if you're songs are on Glee you DID sell out. Now what happened after with the homophobic rant is a completly different issue altogether. Nathan wasn't right but look at it from THEIR point of view. You put your heart and soul into creating something organic (which Glee does NOT do, only covers) then you hear that some show who completly butchers each song they cover wants to do the same to yours. Nathan was clearly frusterated but it does not excuse the level of ignorance he portayed. Caleb was right, it just got out of hand.
