Church News: The Number Of The Beast

Dear Christian fool,

I know the meek shall inherit the earth and all that and your Holy Book recommends killing queers, but one must meeekly reply how it also forbids eating shelfish and ladies' not wearing hats in church on Sunday and so on etc.

But have you not noticed how it's also chockful of incest, paedophila, rape, murder, ethnic cleansing, infanticide, and genocide - all in service to you, you imaginary man in the sky.

Think I'll take my lessons in morality from somewhere else, if that's okay with you my love.

I really don't care if you'll let me get married to a fella in your stupid church.

All the best, as ever - from here to eternity

Gay Marriage: Gay Cakes, Gay Fuckwittery

Independent.
I don't give a fuck if someone wants a gay cake or or if someone won't make it.

Can you think of a list of messages a baker wouldn't want to ice?

Lets' start with - by way of example - a cake reading ' DEATH TO THE GAYS!'

People can just say no, you know.

Pansy Division: Silver

“It’s sort of shocking to think that 20 years ago we couldn’t have had a conversation about gay marriage. But now we have it. And yet people are still being killed because they’re gay. So you’ve got one side of the ship is going up and the other side is going down. We want to try and make the whole thing float if we can.”

Chris Freeman of Pansy Division, celebrating their 25 the anniversary with a new album, Quite Contrary.

They kipped on my floor during their UK tour, you know?

Great to have them back.

That second vocalist sounds familiar...

Royal Grammar School: You Do The Maths

A grammar school has been accused of handing out ‘homophobic’ work after a maths question sparked fury amongst parents and students.

The shocking question, handed out by a school volunteer to a group of students at the all-boys Royal Grammar School, in High Wycombe, suggests only men and woman should get married “as God intended”.

The questions reads: “If in a town 70 per cent of the men are married to 90 per cent of the women (and each marriage is between one man and woman, as God intended when he made humans male and female) what percentage of the adult population are married?”

The optional math test “posers” could have been picked up by all the school’s 1,300 students, including children as young as 11.

One parent, who did not want to be named, slammed the homework as being “homophobic” and having an “anti-LGBT bias”.

Speaking to the Bucks Free Press this morning, headmaster Philip Wayne said: “I’m sorry on behalf of the whole school community of governors, staff and boys for any offence this has caused.”

He revealed that the question was set as part of an additional test to higher-level maths students by a former full-time teacher who retired “a long time ago”.

He continued to volunteer at the school and recently handed out the test before the question was spotted by some students.

Mr Wayne said: “First few boys to pick up the test, noticed the question concerned and referred it to staff.

“As soon as it was picked up it was quickly withdrawn from the department.

“He [the school volunteer] will not be returning to RGS. Staff are expected to abide by the teachers standards if they’re on the payroll or not.” ...

Well done lads!

Mexico: Stop In The Name Of Love!

On Saturday, Mexican photographer Manuel Rodríguez captured an image at an anti-gay marriage rally in Celaya, Mexico, reminiscent of the famous “tank man” photo from 1989 that showed a lone pedestrian holding off a string of tanks during the Tainanmen Square uprising in Beijing.

In the picture, a 12-year-old boy stands in a street holding his arms out wide in front of cars and some 11,00 protesters from the National Front for the Family upset by President Enrique Peña Nieto’s proposal to allow same-sex marriage throughout the country.

Currently, same sex marriage is recognized in Mexico City and a handful of the country’s 31 states.

Rodríguez spoke to Mexico’s Regeneración on Sunday, telling the newspaper, “At first, I thought the boy was only playing.”

But the photojournalist approached the kid after taking the picture and asked him why he had attempted to hold up the rally.

“I have a gay uncle, and I don’t want people to hate him,” he told Rodríguez.

Wow!

Legend!

PS There's no way of verifying this, but I'm going with it.

EastEnders: Dotty

Dot decided that she wouldn't attend the wedding of her old friend Colin Russell, who returned to the show last night.

"I've been invited to a friend's wedding. I can't go. I want to go but it isn't right. They shouldn't be getting married," she said.

Sonia Fowler, who is a lesbian and unaware of what Dot meant, said that she really ought to be there for her friend's big day...

Particularly hilarious as June Brown has gatecrashed every gay wedding in Britain ever, fag in hand (pun intended).

Gay Marriage: Shunned

Mail Online.
That's maybe because it's a rather sensible contract regarding inheritance, and not just some young fool marrying their current fuck buddy and divorcing a year later.

David Cameron: Pinkwashing

David Cameron’s legacy as he leaves 10 Downing Street after six years at the pinnacle of government is now officially up for debate. To his allies, Cameron has been the bedrock of economic recovery, many of them repeatedly citing economic growth and increased employment as his greatest bequests to the nation. But what of the man himself? While bidding farewell to his parliamentary colleagues at Prime Minister’s Questions earlier today, Cameron referred to the introduction of marriage equality as one of his proudest achievements since 2010.

Let’s be clear: the legal right to marry your same-sex partner should be celebrated. However, to suggest that it positions Cameron as chief champion of LGBT equality is no more realistic than the assertion that ‘marriage equality’ means that the battle for LGBT equality is won.

Austerity, the economic model underpinning Cameron’s tenure, has had a devastating impact on LGBT services. A TUC-funded research report by London Metropolitan University in 2014 found that the LGBT Voluntary and Community Sector is struggling to cope under the pressure of extensive public spending cuts. The tangible impact of this has been massive reductions in budgets, staffing and, consequently, services offered. This comes at a time when demand for support among key groups, not least bisexual, trans, BME and disabled LGBT people continues to rise exponentially...

Good Morning Britain: A Heated Debate

The Archbishop of York became embroiled in a heated television debate with Piers Morgan this morning over gay marriage.

Archbishop John Sentamu appeared on the ITV show to promote his reasons to vote remain in the upcoming EU referendum but the topic soon moved on to the Orlando massacre.

MailOnline columnist Mr Morgan, 51, asked the religious leader about the church's views on gay marriage following Sunday's attack, which took place in a gay club in Florida.

Dr Sentamu, 67, was forced to deny that the church was homophobic and insisted that he has lots of gay friends - and he was particularly unimpressed when Mr Morgan compared homophobia to racism.

The MailOnline columnist said: 'What if I said to you that you can come to this country as a Ugandan born man but because of the colour of your skin you can only have a civil partnership, you can't have a real one.

'No, some of my relations died on the ships. Slavery was a very wrong thing.'

Dr Sentamu insisted that while he is not in favour of gay marriage due to his religious beliefs, he is not homophobic and he wants to support the LGBT community.

He said: 'I've got a lot of gay friends and they see me as a friend, as someone who wants to support and defend them against homophobia.

'Not supporting gay marriage does not equal homophobia.'

Mr Morgan said: 'You've taken a pretty strong stance against gay marriage. Is it about time that religious leaders from all faiths came together and were more tolerant generally towards homosexuality?'

But the archbishop replied: 'You can still have your view, in terms of teaching the church's position on marriage and at the same time be intolerant of those who are homophobic.

'The church's teaching on marriage between a man and a woman is very clear. I support civil partnerships because for me that's a matter of equality, a matter of fairness

'My upholding of Christian marriage as I understand it goes hand and hand with saying to people that to diminish homosexual people is anathema to the Christian faith because God loves us all equally.'

Mr Morgan was undeterred and asked: 'Is homosexuality a sin?'

The archbishop said: 'I would never say that. I will never say that because sin is doing something consciously against god.'

Hoax Watch: Love Wins, Fag Loses

Whole Foods is suing a gay Texas pastor who accused the chain of selling him a customized cake with the homophobic slur "fag" written on it.

The company is seeking $10,000 in damages because they claim Jordan Brown acted "with malice, and he has damaged the reputation and business of WFM.”

Brown published a video on Monday that claimed he requested a custom cake from a Whole Foods in Austin with "Love Wins" written on it, and that the bakery returned the cake with the homophobic slur written below it. He claims he didn't notice it until he was in his car, stopped at a red light. At a press conference on Monday, he announced that he was suing the company for emotional distress.

The company released footage from the moment Brown, the pastor, purchased the cake. The chain is claiming that Brown allegedly wrote the homophobic slur on the cake himself because their video shows that the UPC label was on the top of the box, and a YouTube video posted by Brown showed the UPC label on the side of the box. They claimed it was evident because the cashier is shown scanning the code on the top of the box.

Whole Foods filed a countersuit, claiming that Brown "intentionally, knowingly and falsely accused Whole Foods and its employees of writing the homophobic slur… on a custom made cake that he ordered from WFM’s Lamar Store in Austin…," reports the Austin American-Statesman.

The chain denied any wrongdoing, claiming it would have been impossible for a team member to include a slur on a cake because they have a strict policy that "prohibits team members from accepting or designing bakery orders that include language or images that are offensive.”

In a statement, the company says the custom cake was created by an LGBTQ bakery team member. "We appreciate the appreciate the team members and shoppers who recognize that this claim is completely false and directly contradicts Whole Foods Market’s inclusive culture, which celebrates diversity,” the company said...

Advocate.

I don't know how anyone can still fall for these 'Cry homophobia!' fictions.

I guess if the gay media wasn't quite so credulous, less people would try and pull these publicity seeking and/or money grabbing stunts.
