The gay media love this sort of sentimental crap, as, unsurprisingly, do the Daily Mail (same mindset?), who phrased it; "Michelle Conway McClain penned the note after finding out that her son Zach had come [!] via a post on Facebook."

So when your son comes... out, you don't talk to him, you write a note and post a photo of it online.
There's a long, inglorious history of these sort of "adorable, heart-warming, so brave etc" pukey coming out stories "going viral!" then being shown to be hoaxes - so much so that Michelle had to post later; "This note is not fake" - but apparently this one, unbelievably, is true.
Bet your son's glad you told the whole world he's queer, mom!
