Yet another daft piece in the Telegraph today on the existential threat to THE ENTIRE WORLD posed by same-sex marriage;
'Eight Centuries Of Law Obliterated Overnight'
Really!?
Next time you hear anyone coming up with this old piffle tell them this...
Marriage was only defined in British law as having to be between a man and a woman in 1971.
They'll go batshit, guaranteed!
Toodle-pip.
• Some of the few articles to have come out of this dull debate that haven't bored the nadgers off of me have been about how much marriage has changed over time - a fascinating subject which many gaybashing God-botherers seem blissfully ignorant about.
Here's Greg Jenner on Huffington Post last week, and two (2) fings from today, one from BBC News "magazine", and a great piece by Hywel Williams from the Daily Mail Right Minds blog.
You heard me!
The latter piece is a hoot, blowing intellectual raspberries at just about everything else the Mail has run on this.
Enjoy!
