      Kinda agree.

      Though one of the jokes about all this nonsense is that there's no such thing as "visiting rights" etc in hospitals.

    Lest we forget these words of wisdom from our estimable Mayor: "If gay marriage was OK – and I was uncertain on the issue – then I saw no reason in principle why a union should not be consecrated between three men, as well as two men, or indeed three men and a dog".

    I feel like all this is just the flipside of their blatant homophobia of recent years.
    ie. we were used as a punchbag in the late-'80s onwards to get more votes by appealing to ignorance and prejudice (indeed stirring it up), and now I feel like we're being used to show how evolved and compassionate they are (after public opinion moved on long before they did).

    I know this is all to the good (Out4Marriage or whatever it's fucking called this week), but it makes me feel a little sick tbh.

    I support gay marriage mainly cause of the loopy cunts who are against it.

    Up there, on the right.
