Slowly rational debate wins over hysteria.
PS Interesting timeline on de/criminalisation of homosexuality which I don't have the time to pick holes in state by state. But, for example, technically Napoleonic France and Soviet Russia didn't decriminalise homosexuality, it happened by default as they erased every law on the old statute books. Technically murder was legal in Russia for years.
