Little parlour game; Ask why are the (gay) right, the (straight) wet liberals and the otherwise apolitical getting so agitated about Sochi?

  2. Millions of workers from impoverished former Soviet republics such as Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan. Citizens from these countries do not need visas to come to Russia and can stay (legally) for a year. There are large numbers of other ex-Soviet nationalities in living in Russia - particularly Georgians, Armenians and Azerbaijanis. There are even Afro-Russians!
