Maybe next time you could try checking them, eh?

Cause sentimental 'Boo hoo-hoo squish squish sad face' crap trumps all. Including those boring, pesky facts.

Reminds me of my most red-faced moment when I was editing Capital Gay. Our (very reliable) US correspondent sent us the story of a Swiss expedition that had found a somethingolithic corpse buried deep in the ice bed. An archaeological post mortem found frozen semen in its anus. He sent us the story in May - not knowing that the paper he collected it from had originally printed the story on April 1st!!!
