Peter Tatchell: It's All About Me!

Peter Tatchell - the normally publicity-shy gay rights campaigner - has sent out a press release about how he won the vote on gay marriage, Fagburn can reveal.
The press release included a photo of himself with a boring banner and wearing too much make-up.
"It was me that won it," said the in-no-way vain activist, "I am humbled by this, that's why I sent out another boring press release about me."
"ME!!!!"

    I now have an image of a revised version of 'The Resurrection' by Piero della Francesca. Substituting the risen Christ with Peter Tatchell and the sleeping soldiers with Conservative MPs...

    Ye Gods, I need to lay of the drugs. Or take more.

    I enjoy your blogs and have you on my favourites but it does worry me at times at just how angry you get. Peter T has done an enormous amount over the years to campaign for equality and most of that time he has been a one man band so it is inevitable he will get a lot of attention. But the same thought occured to me when I read his posting on Pink News about 'I and others'. 'As one of many' or 'Along with others' would have played so much better. John F
