Marriage: Question Time
“I have just never felt that this is what we should be focusing on this... And it seems to me that there was no huge demand for this and we didn’t need to spend a lot of parliamentary time and upset vast numbers of people - vast numbers of people - in order to do this."
Philip Hammond, Defence Secretary.
WELL WHY DON'T ALL YOU SODDING TORY MPS STOP GOING ON ABOUT IT THEN?!!
Clip from last night's Question Time, posted to YouTube by Coalition4Marriage, who've curiously cut out all the responses, including Chris Bryant's, that make Hammond look a serial homophobe, and a hypocrite, and a bigoted fool.
You can watch the whole programme on BBC iPlayer.
• The Marriage (Same Sex Couples) Bill is back in the Commons on Monday and Tuesday. Should be a hoot.
