George Michael/Elton John: Treasured or Troubled?

George Michael and Elton John are both in many of the tabloids today again.
Some photos have just emerged of Elton playing at Rush Limbaugh's wedding.
Good old Elton!
And George Michael has been charged with drugs possession and driving under the influence again.
Bad boy George!
Thrilling, isn't it?
George Michael - or "Gaypopstargeorge Michael" to give him his tabloid name - is known for many things.
One thing George Michael is well known for in media circles is that he doesn't sue.
This means the tabloids can and do print a load of old rumour and rubbish about "troubled singer" George Michael.
Elton John - or "Gaysingerelton John" - is also known for many things.
One thing that Elton is well-known for in media circles is repeatedly suing for libel over inaccurate or unflattering news stories about him.
Perhaps that's why the tabloids keep reminding us they think Sir Elton John's "a national treasure"?
