And do you think the Mail care about gay Nigerians - or is the story that they have a problem with the UK giving aid to Africa?
It's astonishing how this fiction is still doing the rounds.
Fagburn does get the impression The Independent "leaves" gay news to silly straight posh interns.
Please let Fagburn know if you have seen anyone who's tried too check these claims.
And if you think a story must be true cause it's reported in the papers, you really haven't being paying attention.

PS A rather good piece by James Schneider for Independent Voices pointing out how condemnation of Nigeria's new law by Western politicians would be counter-productive and could harm LGBT people there-Astonishing how the knee-jerk 'We must do something!' ban-and-boycott brigade don't get this.
