Russia: Putin Speaks!


Pink News et bumpress all - reporting on the Andrew Marr Show interview earlier today, where Putin said he's not homophobic and has gay friends - claimed by stunning GAYPRESSLOGIC this proves PUTIN SECRETLY HATES THE GAYS!!!

Hey Putin! There is no link between being gay and sexualising underage boys

Last year, Pink News famously said Margaret Thatcher was "a gay icon" - "Despite some controversy around Section 28, which in 1987 banned the teaching or promotion of homosexuality" - so why don't they say Uncle Vlad is a gay icon, too?

      Section 28 referred more explicitly to promoting homosexuality.

      There is a big difference between prohibiting the promotion of homosexuality in schools and Russian laws regarding homosexuality.

      In terms of domain but not in sentiment. Besides, our media were homophobic then so there was no need to extend Section 28 to cover them.

    Are we saying that ol' Vlad doesn't hate the gays then? I mean, you would obviously have mocked that 'I have gay friends' line if anyone else said it.

    I know the gay press are shit and whatever, but the point stands.
