    Its funny that an attack on the superficiality of the gay media is conducted via a map that classifies India with the evil Muslims and Bangladesh as Meh. South Africa has gay equality enshrined in it's constitution yet is an example of "Bad Black People". Still, its only foreigners in far away places and I'm sure gays who should know better are lapping this up.

    Er, that was part of the joke.
    The gay media doesn't know its arse from its elbow, geographically/politically, etc.
    Still, glad to give the pedants something to do...

    PS - there certainly are mosques in Greece, btw and a sizeable muslim minority, but that wasn't the point...

    The joke is on those peddling this map around with its glaring errors. You don't have to be pedantic, just have eyes. If it had picked out a few "good" countries, Sweden, Norway, the Netherlands and some notorious ones like Iran, Russia and Uganda then labelled the other countries foreign places we haven't heard of, then it might have been funny. As it is, it is a prime example of the ignorance that it is attempting to satirise. 20% of the countries that have legalised same sex marriage are in "meh" Latin America, last time I looked China was communist, North Korea is also communist and Asian, not filled with bad black people etc etc ....     When the Indian Supreme Court recently reinstated the law criminalising gay sex, I don't recall anyone reporting these were the actions of "evil Muslims". So why is it funny to suggest the Gay Media did?

    I'm certainly not humourless, because I am laughing a lot about how "fucking stupid" you are not to realise that the joke is on this "fucking stupid" map and all the people who are too "fucking stupid" to realise that whoever produced it was too fucking lazy and stupid to do any basic research. Err... just like accusation the map is levelling at the Gay Media.

    Oh yes, stupid me. India was carefully coloured green to point out the stupidity of the gay media not knowing about the clashes between Muslims and Hindus in that country. And not because the person who compiled the map hasn't a fucking clue where India is, let alone the majority religion there. The same goes for the other 382 glaring errors that make no point whatsoever.

    This is like "satire" that criticises printing pictures of Tom Daley in his speedos with a caption: "And here's a picture of Tom in his speedos to illustrate the kind of disgraceful pictures that we mean". Still, on a blog where "you are fucking stupid" is considered a rational and cogent argument, what else can you expect?
