Carly Rae Jepsen: Spoiler Alert!
Carly Rae Jepsen's Call Me Maybe has gone straight in at number one.
You may not have noticed this, seeing as no-one cares about the charts anymore.
The video's storyline is; "Girl fancies handsome dude, but oh noes, turns out the dude digs dudes!"
ie one of the biggest gay cliches in the pop culture book.
Oh well...

Cliched, but HOT! Apart from the crappy ending.
ReplyDeleteIt would have been better if she gave him her number and he walked back to his car and his boyfriend arrived and they started snogging and then they quite literally fucked each other on the bonnet.
And then she turned round and all the band behind her were bumming each other in the garage, like a faux indie One Direction.
It seemed like it was made to get publicity for the song more thanything else.
Bit like Spiritualized's new video, which looks designed purely to get headlines.
Boringk!
I find it INCONCEIVABLE that a dude who looks like the dude with the car would want to do bumming with that sprat in her garage band.
