Looking at it from the point of view of my 17- or 18-year-old self, who suffered under headlines like the Daily Mirror's How To Spot A Possible Homo at the time of the Vassall affair, a change to lead stories which ridicule anti-gay sentiment would have seemed impossibly wonderful to me. So it's worth noting in a meta-headline sorta way.
