Aww...
This has "gone viral" - but then so did BSE.
Fangyewverymuchimhereallweek etc etc.
Update: Or was Cameron saying they're a couple a HILARIOUS joke?
@pinknews We're not gay. I never stated that I was I have no problem with homosexuality but I am not personally gay. Thank youMight explain why Cameron's tweets are full of jokes about bumboys.

I'm not actually sure if they were pretending they were a gay couple in McDonald's - if you read the timeline, it looks like several people just assumed they were a couple from the photos, and then Cameron (not Adam) went along with it, quite good-naturedly I think, and started spinning it out.
There is no suggestion they were asked to leave because of homophobia - as Queerty and various other gay blogs have suggested, but as so often happens, an imagined victimhood appears to have trumped the facts.
The original Pink News headline quoted above, which bigged up the gay angle, and the first version of the story (and a frantic rewrite), has now been deleted.
Their new story reads like an attempt to smear the two boys; Fake gay couple were never removed from McDonald's, says company.
Bit childish.
Thanks as ever to @how_upsetting (In my defence, I did say "apparently").
