"A sculptor has painstakingly crafted a minute sculpture of Olympian Tom Daley the size of a human blood cell.
"Willard Wigan spent months carving the model out of gold flakes so small that even the pulse in his finger could crush them.
"It is the artist's smallest work to date which he painted using the hair from the leg of a fruit fly as a brush as this studio in Birmingham...
"He said: 'When I finished the sculpture I tried to put it onto the eyelash. But the first Tom I did literally sprang off the eyelash."
The Daily Mail.
Well done, sir!
A quick search on Google Images reveals Mr Wigan has also created a miniature Statue Of David, and a Wizard of Oz mise-en-scène
in the eye of a needle.
Anyone sensing a theme here?
