The Times: Mondo Mindu

"Every week we make something for Lady Gaga. She’s a great client: a freak with lots of money who looks funny. I can find women beautiful but, maybe because they scare me, I like to make them very powerful. The wigs in the picture I made for an African famine charity. We are also making capes out of human hair for François Sagat, the porn star. I only work with Russian hair: it’s the best quality. I have about eight people working here with me. My celebrity friends, like Peaches and Florence Welch, also come to have their hair cut because it’s private and more fun than a salon..."
