“They did a play in New York of the Santaland Diaries and they got this guy to play me [Timothy Olyphant] and he’s a good actor but he’s really handsome, and from the second he walked on stage it’s shot, it came across as this handsome, smart-ass guy, because you looked at him and thought as a handsome guy it was clear that he had options, and so you’re thinking why are you doing this?
