A gay porn star is being sued by the owner of a mansion that he rented for allegedly 'leaving enemas, sex toys and bodily fluids all over the property' after he made a hardcore movie.

Michael Lucas' film crew is being sued by the owner of the Acacia Mansion located in Ojai, California who allege he rented the property under false pretenses and pretended it was for a summer vacation.

The owner, Kristina Knapic, 45, alleges that Lucas rented the property under a fake name that looked like 'Anna' and showed up to take the keys by saying he was her brother in law.

And she alleges Lucas stayed there for five days and left 'Urine, semen and fecal matter on the linens, carpets, upholstery, walls, ceilings and in the hot tub.'

'Enema kits were found throughout the house- on the floors, in the beds, in nightstand drawers and in the trash,' the lawsuit claims.

It also stated 'Various sexual devices were found in the beds and in the trash...The hot tub water was brownish in color,' The Smoking Gun reported...

BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — A dozen states still have anti-sodomy laws on the books 10 years after the U.S. Supreme Court ruled they are unconstitutional.

One such state is Louisiana, where gay rights groups contend police have used anti-sodomy laws to target gay men. But state lawmakers sided with religious and conservative groups in refusing to repeal the law last week.

Of 14 states that had anti-sodomy laws, only Montana and Virginia have repealed theirs since the Supreme Court ruling, said Sarah Warbelow, legal director for the Human Rights Campaign, a national gay rights organization.

Warbelow says that in addition to Louisiana, anti-sodomy laws remain on the books in Alabama, Florida, Idaho, Kansas, Michigan, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Texas and Utah.

The Supreme Court ruled in Lawrence v. Texas in 2003 that it is unconstitutional to bar consensual sex between adults, calling it a violation of the 14th Amendment.

Last year, police in East Baton Rouge Parish arrested gay men for attempted crimes against nature using the anti-sodomy law in a sting operation that caused a national outcry.

Porn magnate and lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender rights activist Michael Lucas is dead set on showing the world just how terrible it is to be gay in his native country.

"I want to bring attention to what is happening in Russia and I want the conversation to last longer than the span of the [Sochi] Olympics," the Moscow-born Lucas, CEO and founder of New York's largest gay adult film company, Lucas Entertainment, told The Huffington Post via email this week. "There was a lot of attention prior to the games, and that attention must continue. The world has seen bits and pieces, but we don't have the full picture of what the LGBT community in Russia is like, and what it is going through."

Hoping to fill this void, the 41-year-old porn star -- who in his early 20s fled Russia for Germany, where his porn career began -- went to Moscow last year to film a documentary about the country's abysmal gay rights record and its maligned LGBT community.

Last week he released a powerful trailer for the upcoming film, "Campaign of Hate: Russia and Gay Propaganda."

A title so full of irony it may burst.
Odd that the filthy rich porn mogul is asking for money for this.
Perhaps he thinks its subject matter means other reactionary rich queens will be an easy touch?
Again, it's fascinating and instructive that this issue is so obsessing and animating the American gay right.
One might be forgiven for thinking there is another rather sinister political agenda at work here.

Yesterday Nikolai Alekseyev put out a press release declaring his latest victory in Russia, as Arkhangelsk (Archangel) has repealed its local law forbidding the promotion of homosexuality to minors.
As - apparently - they thought it unnecessary as it's now covered by the federal law, this is a mere technicality, and thus this is a nonsensical non-story.
But both Pink News and Gay Star News ran it unchallenged.
GSN calling it "an incredible turn of events"!
Pink News quoted GayRussia.org as their sole secondary source, seemingly oblivious to the fact that this is Alekseyev's own website.
[GSN's story has since been toned down, I think. PN are sticking by their usual editorial policy of not correcting false news items].
Unlike them, J Lester Feder at BuzzFeed actually bothered to ask Russian LGBT activists - and even Alekseyev admitted this move changed nothing.
Once again, when so many stories about Russia have been shown to be fictions, unfounded, or wild exaggerations, one has to ask why the gay news media does not bother to check or even question them?
This is a rather minor example amongst many, but the gay media's coverage over Russia, to cite but one example, and their readiness to re/print any old rubbish, has consistently shown such piss-poor editorial standards one has to ask if they serve any useful function.
Your readers deserve better.

Today gay America is mightily pissed over this video.

Nobody knows who made it - or if it was actually made by Russians, anyone could have thrown this old cobblers together on a laptop in half-an-hour. 
Although only an idiot would see one crappy little homemade video as being representative of an entire nation, it is offered up as further evidence that Russia today is exactly like Nazi Germany/Apartheid South Africa (delete as hysterical) - comparisons that are as morally obscene as they are ludicrous - and uniquely evil in how it treats gay people.
But its "arguments" - that homosexuals are carriers of disease, die early, want to rape your kids (that's why they want to adopt them), and are taking over the nation etc etc - are exactly the same sort of nonsense that American rightwing and/or Christians regularly come up with (eg the charming booklet below).
Indeed, many of its "facts" are lifted straight from this American Christian tract.
And it acknowledges a laughable "study" by anti-gay Catholic loonbag, Mark Regnerus, who claimed one in three kids adopted by gay men were sexually abused - again an American.
Perhaps then the video tells us as much about the sickness in the American body politic?
Just as how the new "gay propaganda" law so closely echoing Britain's Section 28 says much about our own moral low ground.

The video was "newly discovered" - and posted on YouTube (purely coincidentally!) - by the rightwing self-styled "liberal" gay blogger, John Aravosis, who runs AMERICAblog. - their touching patriotic slogan: 'A Great Nation Deserves Equality'.
Aravosis - "I got involved in gay politics 20 years ago in order to win the right to serve in the military, have a job, and get married..." - is the source for many of the scare stories about Russia's anti-gay "pogrom", along with Radio Liberty, Radio Free Europe, and Voice Of America - all are rightwing propaganda media funded by the American state.
They are usually obediently repeated, unquestioned, unchecked - for in the current climate anyone can get away with writing any old bollocks about Russia.
The credulity of so many people to these media reports is thoroughly depressing, but sadly - as a cursory look through this blog shows - this is endemic to our culture.
I wouldn't be surprised to read in the gay media soon that; 'PUTIN EATS GAY BABIES!', with the usual caveats; "allegedley", "reportedly" etc.
Aravosis is so angry about what's happening right now he's started a subsite, Gay Russia.- a veritable mine of disinformation.
(The only other hot topic he thinks deserves its own subsite is "Putin's puppet" Syria).
Note how the two other loudest voices shouting about the plight of LGBT Russians are the far-right Zionist porn mogul, Michael Lucas, and the equally politically dodgy HomoCon/NeoCon, Jamie Kirchick, who famously hijacked a live TV debate about Chelsea Manning to rant about Russia while wearing rainbow "suspenders".
(Dan Savage who instigated the Boycott Sochi campaign - against a vodka that's not actually Russian - is seen as a "progressive" - but his last major foray into international politics was the "lefty" and liberal-bashing, 'Say YES To War On Iraq').
Seems the gay right are still living out their Cold War wet dreams.

The latter act - or rather self-publicity stunt - by James Kirchick is surely the neo-imperial mindset defined - where someone literally ignores the great crimes being committed by their own country, and fumes about those of its power rivals.
As is the tendency by westerners to think they know best about what to do, while ignoring what LGBT Russians are saying.
(Note also how often neo-colonialist Orientalist rhetoric appears that Russians are "backward", "uncivilised" etc - ah, the thankless western gay white man's burden). 
Witness what happens whenever someone on a messageboard points out LGBT Russian groups have asked people NOT to boycott.
Simply stating this obvious and important fact can get you compared to a holocaust denier.
An oft repeated post is some variation on "This is exactly how Hitler started!" - as preposterous and offensive as saying any discriminatory legislation is the first step on the road to Auschwitz, and as silly as saying drinking Earl Grey tea will inevitably lead to heroin addiction.
[Edit: It's just as common to be accused of supporting Putin or being a homophobe, if you challenge or correct an untruth here].
The debate has become so debased - and so many commentators are so indoctrinated, so oblivious to facts - it often seems pointless to enter into any discussion.

Yesterday, John McCain, the Republican party presidential candidate, slammed the Russian bogeyman in a widely-circulated op-ed.
He - but of course - highlighted how; "They write laws to codify bigotry against people whose sexual orientation they condemn."
This is somewhat odd, to say the least, as a senator McCain has always opposed any gay equality initiatives.
Ever get the feeling you're being used?
Perhaps it was a joke, and he was being ironic?
For he also wrote; "[Putin] is not enhancing Russia's global reputation. He is destroying it. He has made her a friend to tyrants and an enemy to the oppressed, and untrusted by nations that seek to build a safer, more peaceful and prosperous world."
Could any rational, intelligent, informed person hear an American politician saying any of that without risking dieing laughing?

Manufacturing Discontent

It is heartening and moving that so many people in the west are angry about the oppression of gay people in Russia, and are expressing solidarity.
Though it often seems like an outbreak of whipped-up mass hysteria, akin to 1984's Hate Week, usually expressed in "passive activism"; actions that are pointless (clicktivism), and/or counterproductive (boycotts).
Or like a little outburst of over-emotional collective insanity much as that we witnessed when Princess Diana died.
All too often this does not look like some queer political re-awakening, but further proof of the depoliticisation of our culture.
But people can not be blamed for reaching for their pink pitchforks and torches when they've been subject to the sort of avalanche of media misinformation we normally only witness in wartime.
It is foolish and politically blind not to question why this has now become such an issue - warranting endless, blanket coverage, to the virtual exclusion of other countries' often far worse gay rights abuses - at a time when tensions between the US and Russia are at their most heightened since the Cold War.  
And it is obvious that the increasingly hysterical, hyperbolic and hypocritical "debate" has been hijacked, and is being used - meaning our struggle for gay rights is being used - as rightwing propaganda, by demonising a declared enemy in service to American hegemony.

The gist of it? Islamic suicide bombers have been exempted from a ban on sodomy as regular bummings will make it easier to fit explosives up their arse; (""Is it permissible for me to let one of the jihadi brothers sodomize me to widen my anus if the intention is good?")
The story is so ludicrous someone told me they thought it was from The Onion.
Of course, it's all bollocks.
Here it is roundly and thoroughly debunked as "pure nonsense" by the Electronic Intifada. 
It had been fed to The Advocate by the David Horowitz Freedom Center, a far-right Zionist US thinktank.
Did The Advocate try and check it?
No, why bother? They just ran it.
(It's worth noting that Michael Lucas, the Zionist, Islamophobic, racist Neo-con porn mogul is an Advocate columnist). 
The fiction soon got tweeted and blogged and published all over the world. 
I won't dwell on this, but most annoyingly by Peter Tatchell.
It's depressing that someone who prides himself on being sceptical and does so much good work and critical progressive analysis should fall for this Islamophobic Orientalist guff.
Not the first time, though.
Tatchell has since retweeted a link to the Electronic Intifada article, but as far as I'm aware has not personally retracted it or apologised.

I could fill Fagburn on a daily basis with examples of how piss-poor Pink News and PinkPaper.com are.
The main reason I don't is that I hope it must be obvious - and I'd just end up boring myself and you, dear reader.
But occasionally one of them prints a story so outrageous and noxious it really needs a comment.
'Actor Welcomes LGBT Centre's U-turn On 'Anti-semitic' Event' 'Gay actor and Advocate.com columnist, Michael Lucas, has welcomed news that a US LGBT Centre will no longer host an event by a so-called anti-semitic organisation.'
This "story" - dated February 28th 2011 and "written" by Peter Lloyd - is a textbook example of so much that is wrong with the UK's Pink media.
They get sent a press release - or pull a story off the internet - and cut and paste it, printing it pretty much verbatim, without checking its validity or bias, and without adding a word of comment or balance.
This is something not seen in the gay press alone.
It has a name "Churnalism"; a new website has just gone live where you can check "news stories" for how closely they resemble press releases - churnalism.com (It's early days yet and there's next-to-no gay content yet...)
Back to Pink Paper's story; "Gay actor and Advocate.com columnist, Michael Lucas, has welcomed news that a US LGBT Centre will no longer host an event by a so-called anti-semitic organisation."
"Last weekend, Lucas called on New York's LGBT Center to cancel a party by Israeli Apartheid Week, scheduled for 5 March."
How about telling us something about who Lucas actually is - the "actor" is a gay porn star and porn producer.
How about spending two minutes looking on the internet to find out something about his politics - and if he has form on this issue?
Surely if a journalist is sent a press release about anything related to Israel/Palestine alarm bells must go off?
Peter Lloyd is not some poor kid on work experience learning the ropes - he is News Editor of The Pink Paper.
Does he not know that Lucas is - to put it politely - somewhat controversial?
I don't have to pretend to be impartial and will happily say that I think Michael Lucas is fucking evil.
Lucas is a right-wing Republican - yup, a gay Neo-Con!!!
He's also an extreme Zionist, with a long history of defending any actions committed by the Israeli thug state.
He's also written a number of articles about Muslims that have been slammed as racist.
Lloyd is literally incapable of doing any of this - or more tragically of actually knowing any of this.
Instead he thinks it's acceptable to cut-and-paste some quotes from Lucas, without even a word of comment, or checking for validation from anyone from the New York LGBT Center or Israeli Apartheid Week.

In his latest column, Democracy In Egypt A Myth?, Lucas writes;
"Hope, freedom, and democracy — these are three words that have little or nothing to do with what’s happening in Egypt at the moment. Yet utterly ignorant newscasters and liberal bloggers seem to equate the situation there to Tiananmen Square — where protesters two decades ago risked life and limb in a face-off with China’s authoritarian leaders. Of course, in China they lost.
"The frightening thing is that the protesters in Egypt are looking more and more likely to topple Egypt’s regime and replace it with something far worse. We, as gay people and Americans, shouldn’t be surprised by the horrors likely to come. We shouldn’t buy into the false and ignorant hopes of those on the left who falsely frame the events unfolding in Cairo and other cities in Egypt as a fight for human rights."
Something that no informed analyst of the situation in Egypt thinks, but there you go.
Indeed Khalid Zaid, a gay Egyptian man who's been granted asylum in the US, has written in reply on Gay.com;
"In 2001, after many years in Egypt I was granted asylum by the US following an arrest for suspicion of being gay. In Egypt, there simply are no human rights. Whoever thinks that there are such freedoms should actually move there rather than remotely label the aspirations of protesters as false or ignorant hopes! There is nothing frightening about an awakening that is long overdue.

In January New York's Gay City News ran a bizarre feature; 'Sanctions Must Respond to Iran’s Anti-Gay Genocide' by one Benjamin Weinthal.
(Gay City News regularly publishes nutty rants about Iran by Doug Ireland - who Weinthal quotes approvingly. He also joins in Ireland's attacks on Human Rights Watch - who he believes “continues to be driven by an anti-Israel bias").
Weinthal is a regular contributor to The Weekly Standard, known as "The Neo-Con Bible", and a fellow at Foundation for Defense of Democracies, a neo-conservative think tank.
Their policy on Iran? "Pursuit of even “tougher” sanctions, including measures intended to terminate non-U.S. purchases of Iranian oil. And, when that doesn’t work, we’ll give war another chance."
Presumably cause the last two have worked out so well.
It's shameful that the gay press regularly publishes such crude far Right propaganda.
