Sadly Frankie's old buddy couldn't be at the Vatican yesterday as he's currently serving 50 years in prison for ordering the kidnapping of 500 babies of leftists and having their mothers killed when he was in power.
I guess that's recommended in the Bible somewhere.
Perhaps as many as 30,000 opposition activists - including many priests - "disappeared" under Videla's dictatorship, and our Frank thought it best to say nothing about these great crimes - which of course makes him ideal material for the papacy, where cover-ups are a big part of the job.
I don't know about you but I've got a really good feeling about this new Pope guy.
