Haven't the professional protestors spectacularly missed the point? Why so much sound and fury about the ignorant pronouncements of a man who earns a living been smacked in the head? Haven't they noticed that unless Thomasina manages to win a couple of Olympic Golds, there is very unlikely to be a Gay BBC Sports Personality, because there are still virtually no out sportspeople.
