How fanciful in the Guardian article was this comment about homosexuality in 1961: "Behaviour that would be tolerated in the liberal west could have very punitive consequences in the Soviet Union". Are we now supposed to believe that the west has always been so tolerant of the gays?
ReplyDeleteYes. No one is as enthusiastic as a convert. Having discovered that people loving the same sex is not the end of all civilisation, the West seems to be rewriting history as well as evangelising to the rest of the world.
