#FreedomTo: Not Ask Where The Money's Gone

This must be a misprint, but according to these latest accounts from Ben Cohen's Stand-Up Foundation, his wife, Abby Cohen, was paid $130,000 in the first two years, while they gave out $35,000 in grants.

Be interested to learn what she does, as when you try and contact the office no-one is ever there.

PS Of course there could be a perfectly innocent explanation for why only 5-10% of money raised is given out in grants.

    Could this be because what she does is more than just awarding grants? It might explain why she sometimes leaves the office. Just maybe, someone has donated money to the Foundation to do something other than award grant money. There is a slim chance that the other things they do could be hinted at in their mission statement.

    Hmm - A charity which donates such a small proportion of its revenues to its declared charitable purpose and spends such a relatively large amount (90-95%) on administration requires some scrutiny at the very least
