Bradley Manning Solidarity Weekend

This image showing Bradley Manning's photo in his third grade yearbook is used on the cover of Bradley Manning Support Weekend: A Guide.

This week's New Statesman celebrates Bradley as one of the greatest (alleged!) whistleblowers of all time, putting him up there (allegedly) with Daniel Ellsberg, Mordechai Vanunu and Clive Ponting.
NS also hosted a debate yesterday with Julian Assange; 'This house believes whistleblowers make the world a safer place', which you can now listen to online.
It was confirmed in Parliament this week that Bradley Manning has UK citizenship - here's a report by UK Friends of Bradley Manning on what this could mean.

• An open letter to the New York Review Of Books signed by more than 250 legal experts; "He is currently detained under degrading and inhumane conditions that are illegal and immoral..."

• Petition: Stop The Inhumane Treatment Of Bradley Manning.
