    They're all fucked over by Simon Cowell though.
    He makes a shit-load of money out of the shows, then spends a pittance on recording/promoting the "winners", before moving on to the next year's entrants.
    It's been going on for years, why do people still turn up in their thousands thinking it's going to make them stars!?
    The fame the finalists of Cowell's shows achieve is little better than the average Big Brother contestant.
