Might I go out on a limb and venture that Moscow may only be 'pinker than you think', if you've been reading the Western media's coverage of Russia that usually makes ridiculously hysterical and OTT comparisons between it and Nazi Germany and apartheid South Africa?
Going by this article, life for most LGBTs in Moscow carries on its own quiet, mundane way.
