Brighton Pride: Some History

In 1991 at a meeting in an anteroom at the town hall, Brighton Area Action Against Section 28 - a small, dedicated group of socialists and anarchists - decided to turn their annual protest against Section 28 into a Pride March.
Little did we know...
Now it seems it's mainly an excuse for straight people to walk from one place to another place, to show how right-on they are.
As thousands cheer!

    Returning from my holiday I discovered that my mother, sister and ten-year-old brother all went to this year's London pride.
