Star Wars: A New Hope

John Boyega and Daisy Ridley may play the main charcters of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, but it's his relationship with Oscar Isaac that keeps us talking.

While many fans have been shipping Finn and Poe together ever since the seventh film in the franchise premiered in December, we were heartbroken when John came forward saying a gay romance was probably not going to happen.

However it sounds like he's changed his mind!

John spoke to reporters about his character's potential love interes afer winning big at the Baftas on Sunday, saying:

“What’s so funny, I posted a video the other day of myself working out, skipping, and in the background Oscar is just like, ‘Yeah baby go on!’ and people just went crazy.

“But as far as I’m concerned, when JJ [Abrams] sat us down to go through the script, it was a bromance,” he continued. “But now I’m learning what Mark Hamill said before when he didn’t know that Darth Vader was Luke’s father: you never know what they’re going to pull. I’m looking at the director Rian [Johnson] closely so he can get me involved early, so I can prepare myself. So who knows?”

This needs to happen.

Perez Hilton.

Wouldn't be the first gay couple in Star Wars, of course.

Zoolander 2: Call To Boycott All

Telegraph.
Oh, please.

This is the sort of thing the LGBT media do.

Even thousands of people clicking on an online petition is pretty meaningless in the general scheme of things.

Remember the call to boycott Star Wars VII as it 'promotes white genocide' - a couple of racist cunts used it as a hashtag and it became a HUGE NEWS STORY!

Here's an e-petition to Boycott 50 Shades Of Grey - 'Say no to abuse'.

And don't get me started on Frozen -  'I could blatantly see the homosexual agenda...'

I think this cute little movie is going to indoctrinate my 5-year-old to be a lesbian or treat homosexuality or bestiality in a light sort of way. - See more at: http://www.rightwingwatch.org/content/swanson-disneys-frozen-satanic-push-turn-kids-gay#sthash.809jOz8o.dpuf

Or how about one man's crass 'campaign' to 'Drop the T in LGBT'?

Sake.

PS Will you sign my petition to ban online petitions?, James North.

Thought For The Day (1959): James Bond

Bond came to the conclusion that Tilly Masterton was one of those girls whose hormones had got mixed up. He knew the type well and thought they and their male counterparts were a direct consequence of giving votes to women and 'sex equality’.

From Goldfinger by Ian Fleming, quoted in The Telegraph.

It has been announced that James Bond is getting an 'outspoken gay friend' (Sassy GBF?) in the new post Fleming novel, Trigger Mortis.

Woo!

PS 'Chuck Wendig, author of the new Star Wars novel Aftermath, has told fans who have objected to his inclusion of a gay character that “You’re not the good guys ... You’re the shitty, oppressive, totalitarian Empire.” And added: “If you can imagine a world where Luke Skywalker would be irritated that there were gay people around him, you completely missed the point of Star Wars”.

Star Wars: A Long Time Ago, In A Galaxy Far, Far Away...

The Star Wars universe has gained its first ever gay character.

Moff Mors will become the first gay character in the official Star Wars canon when he appears in Paul S. Kemp’s novel Star Wars: Lords of the Sith.

Mors, who is a lesbian, is an Imperial and a strong, capable leader who strives to prevent failure.

The news was revealed by Shelly Shapiro, editor of Star Wars novels at publisher Del Rey, during the Full Of Sith (geddit?) podcast with fansite Big Shiny Robot...

Metro.

Fagburn gets the distinct impression the picture editor may be taking the piss out of the journalist here.

This 'first gay character' line turned up everywhere, which is what happens when busy journalists just lift things off the internet, and don't have the wherewithal to go; 'Hang on, but what about...'

Star Wars: May The Fags Be With You

"In a new Star Wars game, the biggest threat to the empire may be homosexual activists! Hello, I'm Tony Perkins of the Family Research Council in Washington, D.C. In a galaxy not so far far away, Star Wars gamers have already gone to the dark side. The new video game, Star Wars: The Old Republic, has added a special feature: gay relationships. Bioware, the company that developed the game, said it's launching a same-sex romance component to satisfy some complaints. That surprised a lot of gamers, since Bioware had made it clear in 2009 that "gay" and "lesbian" don't exist in the Star Wars universe. Since the announcement, homosexuals have been celebrating the news, but parents sure aren't. On the game's website, there are more than 300 pages of comments--a lot of them expressing anger that their kids will be exposed to this Star Warped way of thinking. You can join them by logging on and speaking up. It's time to show companies who the Force is really with!"

A gay couple in Star Wars?
Who ever heard of such a thing!!!??
Here's Queerty on what the new game actually does.

Out: Are All Robots Gay?

Fagburn liked this video "montage" on Out magazine online today.
'The Gayest Robots - Why do robots always talk in such "gay" voices? Is the future gay? Is it meant to be a slur? Are all robots gay?'
Featuring all your favourites; Robbie in Forbidden Plant, HAL in 2001: A Space Odyssey, C-3PO from Star Wars...
The list is quite literally seventeen endless.
