Press Release Of The Day: Pride In London

Pride in London today announced some of the performers who will be appearing on the stages in Trafalgar Square and Dean Street on 28th June as well as plans for the Rainbow Fete in Golden Square.

Sinitta and Sam Fox will be bringing their fabulous performance styles and powerful voices to Trafalgar Square and celebrating the #Freedomto entertain. Sinitta will also be taking part in the Parade – so look out for her glamour on one of the 35 floats in this year’s parade!

The fun begins at 1pm, just as the Parade leaves Baker Street. The Drag Queens of London will be making an appearance as well as a very special couple of boys who got engaged on the Pride stage last year and are getting married this summer!

Fresh from Britain’s Got Talent, London’s very own La Voix will appear with the London Gay Big Band at 4.30, followed later by the wonderful Pink Singers.

Trafalgar Square hosts include Dusty O, Dr Christian Jessen, Harry Derbridge [sic] as well as Emma and Chris from the Gaydio breakfast show...

Look out for a big announcement at 6pm on Friday, 20th June. Someone very special is coming to Pride in London 2014!

Pride In London.

Wow! Just WOW!

They've really pulled out all the stops on this one!

Can't wait til 6pm - is it too much to hope that it's Sonia?

NEWSFLASH!!!

Oh well, at least it's someone who's had a hit single this millennium, and who queens under 40 will have heard of.

But how long til Conchita's schlepping round the same gay club circuit as Sam Fox and Sinitta?

TOWIE: When Harry Left Bobby

Only last week Bobby, 24, said he hoped the pair would manage to beat the Towie curse by staying together because the ITV2 show has a history of doomed romances.

He said: “I’m hoping, praying hard and touching wood that the gays can beat the curse.”

But while the pair, who had been dating for six months, were filming for the new series out in Marbella, Spain at the weekend, they had a massive row and split up.

Harry, 20, was an original Towie cast member but left back in 2011.

He was asked back to the new series because he was dating Bobby but now his future looks in doubt.

The new series of the Bafta-award winning show starts next Sunday on ITV2 at 10pm.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Devastated.

Daily Star reader Colin Dodd comments; 'Is there something wrong with me???? I really don't give a flying f&*% about these 2 obscure, vacuous shirt lifters.'

Mind you, this is in the Star so it could be a load of balls.

Talking of a load of balls...

Harry Derbidge: God Help Us If There's A War!

Harry and his new 'bae' (that's what the youngsters say now, isn't it?), Bobby Norris, pictured recently chillaxing in Marbella, return to TOWIE for the new series.
Can't wait.
God, I loves Harry...

Harry Derbidge: The Only Way Is Up!

"Nobody can say 'shut up' like me and Amy. No one can take away the vajazzles, the honeys, the professionals, the 100 per cents, well-jels, the shut-ups."

Harry  Derbidge.
"Gutted teen"/"Camp star" - The Sun.

The X Factor: Harry's Game

"X FACTOR singer Marcus Collins has been exchanging flirty texts with The Only Way Is Essex star Harry Derbidge.

"Former hairdresser Marcus, a front-runner to win the show, has asked Harry to meet him for a drink to "get to know each other".

"Marcus began following Harry on Twitter and eventually the pair swapped numbers.

"Messages Marcus has sent him include: "Let's have a drink and get to know each other" and "Fancy hooking up? You crack me up on TOWIE."

"But Scouse singer Marcus has a long-term boyfriend — and brushed off the texts as "just having a laugh" with Harry..."

This gripping story is in The Sun so I guess it must be true.
It's an interesting sign of the times how the once hysterically homophobic Sun can report a story like this so matter-of-factly.
But as with this story in The Sun last month about how X Factor's Craig Colton and danyl Johnson "going out" (later denied) Fagburn can't help thinking they seem like PR stunts of the Max Clifford variety.
Ah well, at least gay stars don't have to "go out" with beards these days...

PS Can someone explain the speech ballon in The Sun's photomontage? Thanks.

Update: Much surprise on Twitter that Marcus sang 'My Girl' on The X Factor Motown special. Surely shome mistake?

Matt Lucas: Harry's Game

"
"The blond bloke looks like what you have left after you have made a man.”

Matt Lucas, on The Only Way Is Essex's Harry Derbidge quoted in the Star On Sunday.
He also said; “Essex people are really common and when they talk it makes your ears bleed. Essex is vermin. The accent is a blemish on this great nation.”
Apparently this was a joke, but on the previous form of this millionaire snobby ex-public school boy I'm not so sure.

Exciting Music News: Maybe?

Joe McElderry may have been dropped by Simon Cowell's record label, Syco (MTV). No-one's actually sure, but they're still having a good old gloat about it • "Harry Derbidge is secretly dating Eton Road hunk Anthony Hannah" (The Daily Mirror). That's Harry off The Only Way Is Essex, obviously. Anthony Hannah is the funny looking girliebloke who you may not have thought of as a "hunk" • Jedward - fucking Jedward - are the cover stars for the new GT. Apparently they're not gay. Let's hope they say they love their gay fans • And finally, X Factor's Diva Fever are headlining Calderdale Pride. Where on earth is Calderdale? • Can life get any fucking better?

The Only Way Is Essex: Harry's Game

Fucking hell! It's only Harry Derbidge from The Only Way Is Essex!
On the left.
The ITV2 promotional machine has gone into overdrive before the new series starts on Sunday.
He was only supposed to make a quick cameo in the last series but Harry and his string of hilarious catchphrases ("Shut up!!!" "Beautiful" "Shut that door!" etc etc) proved such a hit they're moving him centre-stage.
This bizzaro photo is from a shoot for Star magazine and has been picked up by the tabloids today - most of them drooling over the 16 year-old "camp star".
A sub at the Daily Star may be doing a bit more than drooling - they gave it the headline; 'Camp Harry Derbridge A Brit Of Alright'.
(The sub was clearly so excited they also spelt Harry's surname wrong).
Apparently he's going out with a pop star. Harry won't yet reveal who it is, but has said he's in a band.
It's probably the gay one in The Wanted then.
Harry told the Star; "I’m cool with being different. Paul O’Grady called me an inspiration to young gay guys as I was so out there with my sexuality. I like to feel I’m a role model."
And to prove it Harry's done an It Gets Better Today video for Stonewall.
Watch it here - it's really quite... something.
Adorable.
God, I feel old...
