Miley Cyrus: Call The Joke Police!
But Miley Cyrus, 21, risked angering her fans as she appeared to make light of date rape as she performed at London's G-A-Y nightclub on Friday.
TMZ reports that the star brought a friend on stage to wish him a happy birthday and referring to her friend's sexuality, she said:
'You know, everyone’s a little bit gay … It’s the truth.
'Everyone’s gay, all it takes is one cocktail. And if that doesn’t work, sprinkle something in their drink. That’s what I always do.'
Daily Mail - who are not happy.
She's gone up in my estimation now.

G-A-Y: Bums, Booze & Britney
Jeremy Joseph tells the Mirror all about Westlife being a bit drunk, Lady Gaga watching the telly, Amy Winehouse throwing up, "Madonna is Madonna", Olly Murs wearing a posing pouch, Maria Carey turning up a bit late, Adele being "down-to-earth", and Sharon Osbourne losing her ring - hardly the first person to have that happen after a night at G-A-Y.
Oh my, it all reminds one of the worst excesses of the last days of ancient Rome!

Jeremy Joseph Goes to No 10: This Is The Rapture - The End-Time Is Here, People!!!
'Why was the man behind G-A-Y and Porn Idol a guest at No 10 party?'The Mail On Sunday.
Jesus Christ and holy fuck! What on Jupiter has happened?!!!
"David Cameron is to review No 10's guest policy after a gay nightclub owner who encourages men to strip naked at 'Porn Idol' contests was invited to an official function.
"Jeremy Joseph, who runs London's G-A-Y club, attended a Downing Street event last month designed to celebrate the 'importance gay people play in national life'.
"But his contribution to society includes cajoling young audience members to take their clothes off in front of a baying crowd at the weekly Porn Idol nights he hosts at the Heaven nightclub.
"An undercover Mail on Sunday reporter attended the event on Thursday and saw Mr Joseph, 44, encourage contestants to strip naked, using lewd language, and urge the audience to jeer at those who were reluctant to do so."
How sad that the Daily Mail in 2011 still employs gay men who have to go "undercover" to a gay club.
So is this story based on a made-up quote which doesn't even back it up?
You Betcha!
"A No 10 aide involved in arranging the function said last night: 'We did not know Mr Joseph organises the event you describe and we will look into this with regard to invitations to future events.'"
You couldn't make it up.
I advise you read the shocking expose of the cavalcade of FILTH witnessed by an undercover Daily Mail reader here, but I must beg that it is not seen by your children, servants, pets or good lady wife.
Update: Here's a rather smashing video of Adele - the special surprise guest at G-A-Y on Pride day. Thank you Adele. Well done, Jeremy.

Littlejohn 2.0: Making Your Mind Up
"They took G.A.Y by storm as they performed a six-song set of their old favourites," Georgina Littlejohn writes, giving the late Dorothy Parker a run for her money.
Hoorah for the mighty Fizz, verily it must have been a magical night!
This isn't the first time Georgina has written about having a gay old time getting down with The Gays at G-A-Y.
I wonder if her father approves of the nocturnal company she keeps?
By a wonderful - yet statistically improbable - coincidence her old man also writes for the Daily Mail.
He is - oh, you're ahead of me - the Daily Mail's £700,000 a-year star columnist and homophobe-in-chief, Richard Littlejohn.

The X Factor: Paint A Vulgar Picture
He's writing about The X Factor - 'A Vast Money-Making Machine'.
This isn't a critique of capitalism of course, it's just that Mr Hensher thinks this is all so terribly vulgar.
He notes; "Each rejected act, it appears, is booked to appear at the deathlessly naff London nightclub G-A-Y the following weekend..."
Is Mr Hensher aware that "naff" is polari?
It means he thinks it's "common" - which one may presume is the real problem the likes of the arch snob Philip Hensher have with The X Factor, G-A-Y and their working-class fans.

Joe McElderry: Still Awake?
Due to plug his sorry debut album at G-A-Y on Saturday night, on Friday The Sun reported he was in bed with laryngitis.
That's right - he had a sore throat!
The mind boggles...
Luckily for everyone Joe rose like Lazarus.
The Sun's coverage of Joe's G-A-Y PA?
Zero. Which may indicate the young lad's star is already quickly fading.
The Mail, Express and Star all ignored it, too.
They may have missed out - The Mirror made it sound like a cross between Altamont and the last days of the Roman empire.
'Joe McElderry rescued by minders from lively G-A-Y crowd'
"Joe McElderry's going to be back in the closet quicker than you can say YMCA after being mobbed by drooling fellas during his gig.
"The terrified X Factor winner had to be rescued by beefy minders when one overexcited fan leapt on the stage at London's G-A-Y.
"I'm told: "Joe performed six tracks from the new album but towards the end of his last song a fan clambered on to the stage and tried to haul him off it and into the crowd.
"Bouncers waded in and dragged him to safety. There was a stampede." Scary stuff..."
Blimey!
Commented the Mirror's ever droll 3am girls/boys;
"Crikey. Maybe the clamberer just wanted to hold Joe's hand as he negotiates the tricky world of relationships. Has he still just kissed the one boy? He's missing out!"
Crikey!
Joe's album - Wide Apart or whatever it's called - is in the shops today!

G-A-Y: Does Your Father Know?
Now I don't care about you, but Fagburn thinks that one of Britain's most fascinating media phenomena is the G-A-Y PA.
A big pop star sings a few songs at London's biggest gay club on a Saturday night, and they're practically guaranteed good coverage in the tabloids on the Monday morning.
Or, at the least, a nice photo of said star in action and a timely reminder that their new record is in the shops now.
Nice free ad for the act. Nice free ad for the club. Nice bit of free showbiz news for the papers - everybody happy!
The G-A-Y PA is now such a very big thing that promoter, Jeremy Joseph, has been able to get some very big stars to appear; Lady GaGa, Britney and Madonna.
And on Saturday, there was a "surprise performance" from that holy grail of the G-A-Y PA, Kylie Minogue.
The piece in today's Daily Mail read like a press officer's dream.
'Kylie is G.A.Y's golden girl as she puts on a special late night show for her faithful fans'
"The temperatures might have been high outside but Kylie Minogue sent the mercury soaring even further last night.
The petite pop star glittered and shone as brightly as the sun as she performed a special late night gig for her fans in London.
Appearing on stage at the G.A.Y nightclub, the singer wowed the crowds with a set of songs from her new album Aphrodite."
Remember, this The Daily Mail.
They're not usually quite so ecstatic about "the gays".
Only a few days ago they were fulminating against us - although ironically, that was in the context of queens loving Kylie, as well.
"Does Supreme Court judge Lord Rodger really believe the typical gay man enjoys ‘Kylie concerts’ and ‘drinking exotically-coloured cocktails’" asked their leader.
"But this gratuitously offensive caricature mustn’t distract us from the extreme seriousness of the court’s ruling.
"For at this time when our public services are strained beyond endurance, it means Britain must now, in a dramatic reversal of policy, give a home to all gay asylum-seekers who are prevented from displaying their sexuality openly in their home countries.
"Where are we to draw the line?"
Where indeed?
Still more ironic is that the Daily Mail's reviewer, who obviously had such a great time enjoying the Kylie concert and getting down with the gays on Saturday night, was one Georgina Littlejohn.
What a lovely coincidence that Georgina is now working for the same paper as her father - the Mail's £700,000 a-year star columnist and homophobe-in-chief, Richard Littlejohn.
You couldn't make it up!
