The Normal Heart: Beats At Last



Here's the full trailer for HBO's adaptation of Larry Kramer's play The Normal Heart
Directed by Ryan Murphy of the rather different Glee fame, and starring Mark Ruffalo, Matt Bomer, Jim Parsons and Julia Roberts, it airs on May 25th in the US.

  1. Streisand had optioned this for around 30 years and it still didn't get made. It was a huge landmark play and I hope that the TV movie will be the same. It has already spurned a follow up based on Kramers later writing about the main character Ned Weeks

  2. I'm really looking forward to seeing this. I've not seen or read the play before, so it's all new to me; and JIm Parsons and Mark Ruffalo ROCK!
    The HBO adaptation of Angels in America is one of the best things ever. I know this is a different kettle of fish, though...
