CORRIE stars given free gifts happily plugged them to fans on Twitter — unaware they had been caught in a STING.
Brooke Vincent and pals were tricked by investigators who used FAKE goods and the cheeky brand name Puttana Aziendale — Italian for “corporate whore”.
They tweeted about an “anti-ageing” skin toner said to use water from a mountain well in Bali and an “energising bracelet” allegedly made and blessed by Buddhist monks...
The Sun - a fervent foe of fatuous celebrity endorsements, of course.
This is hilarious, though.
PS The sting was by Channel 4's Dispatches, not The Sun, by the way.
