Talking Heads: The Big Country

Never understood if this is meant to be ironic.
Fairly cracks me up every time, whatever.

  5. I always think Talking Heads are so boring and square and artschool hipster cool that boring and square people whip themselves up into a frenzy of boring squareness.
    It's like watching this for 5 hours...

    It's like a boringly square drug of boring squareness where previously boring and square people suddenly feel cool cause David boring and square Byrne is in the charts and everything so he must be cool and suddenly boring and square doesn't mean anything anymore coz boring and square is suddenly hip and happening.
    They're The Beatles of the '80s, basically...
