Newflash: Local Council Sends Press Release To Gay Media

Liverpoool council has sent out a press release to the gay media, Fagburn can confirm.
It is understood the email was sent to Pink News Paper, Pink Paper News, a local listings magazine, and anyone else they thought would publish any old crap they're sent.
The press release announced that some street signs in Liverpool now incorporate a rainbow - the internationally-recognised symbol of the gays.
The leader of Liverpool City Council, Paul O'Shady, said; "This is obviously a pointless token gesture and we just hope some of the gays fall for it."
After the unveiling one excited local, who did not want to be named, commented; "Do they really think we're that thick? With all the problems we've got in Liverpool who gives a fuck about this crapola?"
Councillor John Lennon-Airport told Fagburn; "This is the least we could do - we checked."
