Current Listening: Orange Juice

It's 25 years since The Queen Is Dead was released this week.

Fagburn is hoping there will be similar excited markers for the 25th anniversary of the C86 tape next month.
The tinnily recorded soundtrack to my love-lorn late adolesence.
But let's also remember those sweet Scottish boys who invented the whole Glad to be Fey jangly guitars big floppy fringe from paradise Indie aesthetic; Orange Juice.
The entire audience; "Poofs! Poofs! Poofs!"
Edwyn; "MOSCOW!" etc etc.
Straight camp genius!

    That's Edwyn Collins.
    I don't think he's ever been described as "hot" before - particularly there.
    I think he was trying to look affectedly frigid.

    He's certainly a bit of alright, although i see he has aged. He looks a bit like the lead singer in cats on fire.
