Grayson Perry: Perry Good
Grayson Perry - the Turner Prize winning potter, transvestite, Fall fan and all-round good egg - appeared on This Week this week to talk about the David Laws affair, the closet and to sing the praises of non-conformity.
"There's this understanding that politicians somehow can put their personalities and their personal life to one side when they're working, and that doesn't affect the decisions they're make, they're entirely rational beings," he argued. "And nobody is that. You can not look round the corner of your personality, you will always look through the lens of your own emotional life."
