Morrissey: Keeps On Digging

"The recent killings in Norway were horrific. As usual in such cases, the media give the killer exactly what he wants: worldwide fame. We aren't told the names of the people who were killed - almost as if they are not considered to be important enough, yet the media frenzy to turn the killer into a Jack The Ripper star is .... repulsive. He should be un-named, not photographed, and quietly led away.
"The comment I made onstage at Warsaw could be further explained this way: Millions of beings are routinely murdered every single day in order to fund profits for McDonalds and KFCruelty, but because these murders are protected by laws, we are asked to feel indifferent about the killings, and to not even dare question them.
"If you quite rightly feel horrified at the Norway killings, then it surely naturally follows that you feel horror at the murder of ANY innocent being. You cannot ignore animal suffering simply because animals "are not us."

Official statement.
She's turned into some mad old lady with 300 cats.
Sit down man, you're a bloody tragedy!

  1. 1. his house in LA has a massive leather sofa, his car has leather upholstery and he's admitted to wearing italian leather shoes. There was some recent thing about him wearing a shirt onstage by a designer that uses fur or something.
    He's a hypocrite.

    2. as you pointed out previously, Fagburn, the only criticism he's levelled at the current government is that Cameron supports fox hunting.
When asked in a recent interview if he'd ban Cameron from gigs, Morrissey said categorically that he wouldn't.
A couple of weeks ago, David Tseng - the man who started the morrissey-solo site and has kept it up and maintained that site for well over 10 years - flew out from the US to Copenhagen to see a Morrissey concert.
(Morrissey doesn't like the way anyone can comment on morrissey-solo and there's been a recent swell in commenters slagging off Moz's recent songs, which are utter shite and his current band, which is mediocre at best)
He spotted Tseng in the crowd and had him thrown out. He's now said that Tseng is banned for life.
So this fan is banned forever, but David Cameron is welcome any time.

Morrissey is a moral vaccuum. I was actually going to throw all my Morrissey/Smiths records in the bin when I first heard what he'd said about Norway. I still might...
