Relentlessly Gay: Cash Back

Baltimore Sun.

LOL etc.

Hope the police didn't get involved.

Hey, remember how all the gay media thought this crazy lady was legit? *

It's not like most gay journalists are literally incapable of questioning anything they read, is it?

* Except Fagburn, as per.

Humans Of New York: In No Way Is This Made-Up!

Gay Star News - et al media.

The story is about the saint-like Hillary Clinton taking some time out to personally respond to one of the millions of tweets she sees each day.

Which was AWESOME!

I see no need to question this, or that the squish-squish (stock?) photo above (posted by someone else) actually shows the little lad crying over his gayness, or to think the hype was generated by her press office.

Nor that it could be another 'Relentlsessly gay garden' waiting to happen.

Hey adorable American kid, KISS HER DRONE!

Gay Star News: Adorable!

Kids + gay marriage + will warm your heart + adorable = GSN BINGO!

Cause sentimental crap makes their world go round.

Yay, my life is so validated by the moral choices of some little people who probably still wet the bed!

The sad thing is Gay Star News have no idea what a tedious gay cliché machine they are.

There's also something of a classic Gay Star News 'news' story today.

They've finally cottoned on that the 'Relentlessy gay garden' story may - just possibly - be a hoax.

Poor GSN, always the last to know...

No apologies for running a totally credulous news story about this last month.

Even though anyone with an IQ higher than a labrador's could see it stank.

Queerty did the same thing a week ago.

But GSN oblivious to this, only ran their story after Mail Online had picked up on Queerty's story two days ago!

Again, if all the gay news media is doing is re-running stories they've seen in the straight press - and GSN's is a clear copy of the Mail's - then there is no point to the gay news media.

Queerty: Suckers

This is stunning in its mendacity, audacity and cluelessness.

Queerty gloss over the fact that they originally ran this without questioning it.

It was left to several of their readers to point out that there were several gaping holes in her sob story.

There is something seriously wrong when this happens, as it does repeatedly.

Just as there is when the gay media can only pick up a story after it's run by a non-gay source.

When this becomes standard you have to wonder what is the point of a gay press.

Even if the bizarre 'relentlessly gay' note from a neighbour was real, why was her first course of action to ask complete strangers for money?

All gay media I saw proved similarly credulous, thus failing Fagburn's first law of journalism...

Always ask is this true?

But they hardly ever do.

If you are literally incapable of even thinking this - if you aspire to nothing beyond being yet another rainbow-coloured fart machine - then maybe it's time to close down your laptop for good?

PS Here's Fagburn's original post on why this story should have set alarm bells ringing. Edit: And another 'cry homophobia' hoax breaks; Utah man carves 'Die Fag' into his own arm, reports hate crime, fesses up. You couldn't make it up! Except he did

Gone Viral: Relentlessly Gay

A Baltimore resident has started a GoFundMe campaign so she can make her "relentlessly gay" yard even more relentless and more gay.

The campaign is in response to a note that Julie Baker said, via a Facebook post, was left by a neighbor.

Phone calls and messages sent through Facebook and GoFundMe asking Baker for comment have not been returned.

The note, according to the Facebook photo, read: "Your yard is becoming Relentlessly Gay! Myself and Others in the neighborhood ask that you Tone it Down. This is a Christian area and there are Children. Keep it up and I will be forced to call the police on You! Your kind need to have Respect for GOD."

The note, which Baker said she discovered inside her door, was signed, "A Concerned Home Owner."

On her fundraising page, Baker said the note was in response to a set of rainbow solar lights she had recently hung in her yard. She said the lights spelled out the words "Love" and "Ohana," which is a Hawaiian expression for family unity. The rainbow, and rainbow colors, are a symbol of gay pride.

The story has been picked up my a large number of national outlets, including prominent LGBT blog Joe. My. God.

"Needless to say... I need more rainbows... Many, many more rainbows….," Baker wrote on her fundraising page. "...I am starting this fundraiser so I can work to make my Home even More relentlessly gay."

"Put simply," Baker wrote. "I am a widow and the mother of four children, my youngest in high school and I WILL NOT Relent to Hatred. Instead, I will battle it with whimsy and beauty and laughter and love, wrapped around my home, yard and family!!!"

As of about 10:15 p.m. Wednesday, Baker had more than doubled her $5,000 fundraising goal to make her home relentlessly gayer.

This certainly has gone viral!

The story has now left Baltimore and the gay media and gone global.

I have not seen one journalist question it.

It may be true - there are over 600,000 people living in Baltimore, so it's possible one of them would be so nuts to complain about a neighbour's garden being 'gay', as it's offensive to Christians.

Sure, it makes absolutely no sense, but that's rarely a strong point with Christians.

But even if the letter's not faked, why was the gardener's first course of action to ask complete strangers for money?

And a mere $5,000 no less!

We've seen several examples of people crying 'homophobia!' in recent years that have turned out to have been totally made-up.

So surely alarm bells should start ringing here.

Remember the New Jersey waitress who said she'd been refused a tip cause she was a lesbian

She solicited donations through PayPal - and raised £3,000 before it was soon revealed she'd made the whole thing up.

Whatever, it's not impossible that Gardengate is a 100% true sob story - a truly inspirational tale of a poor Maryland widow valiantly fighting homophobia through the medium of rainbow-coloured gnomes and fairy lights, please give generously.

But, as far as I'm aware, it seems only her local paper has bothered to try and check it out - and what happened?

'Phone calls and messages sent through Facebook and GoFundMe asking Baker for comment have not been returned.'

Julie Baker's Relentlessly Gay GoFundMe page has now raised over $20,000.

Update: A brief chat with The Washington Post. Sorry, but she sounds as mad as her garden looks. And no, they didn't ask where the rest of the money's going.
