The Sun can reveal the troubled star, 52, has been in touch with insurance companies about touring again.
A source said: “This is a big step for George. There was a time when it seemed he might never make another public appearance.
“Friends said he was scared and had lost his confidence. But if he’s asking about the logistics of getting back on the road it shows he must be improving.
“It’s not clear if he’d be planning a major tour but festival slots and one-off appearances look extremely likely.
“Demand for him as a live act has never wavered.” His last stage appearance was in September 2012 and George is since believed to have spent much of his time in rehab.
The Sun on Sunday told last year how the former Wham! star’s friends feared he had become a “total recluse”...

ReplyDeleteImagine trying to return to the music industry after a period away with everyone expecting you to do something awesome. Is there really a bed big enough in the world to hide under. Luckily I have no such concerns as I live under the sea in a remote piece of coral.
