Jose Luis Rodriguez, 39, of Manhattan, had been looking after boyfriend Randy Capehart’s dog Buddy, while the porn star went to Texas for his grandmother’s funeral.
However, the New York Post, reported that Randy, who is also known as Vin Nolan, awoke to calls on Saturday morning saying Buddy was dead.
Rodriguez, who has been partners with Capehart for 13 years, was arrested at 10.30am that day close to John Jay Park on Manhattan’s Upper East Side where the incident was said to have taken place.
Capehart paid tribute to his beloved pet on Facebook the same day, writing: ‘It’s with a heavy heart I have to announce the passing of my beautiful sweet innocent Buddy.'
